The Success Company
Karl Denny
Senior Change Leader · Prosci Certified Practitioner · MBA (Leading Innovation & Change)
I’ve spent 30 years helping organisations navigate change that people don’t want, don’t trust, or don’t understand. The solution is always about people. Lead people well and the results will follow.
From 33,000 Network Rail staff adopting Microsoft 365 during a pandemic, to convincing 26,000 Kantar employees across 30 countries that Teams telephony was worth the switch — complex, resistance-heavy programmes are where I do my best work.

Senior change leadership,
where it matters most
Change Management Strategy
ADKAR-based change strategies from assessment through reinforcement — built around the people, not the project plan.
Stakeholder & Sponsor Alignment
Getting the right people bought in, from C-suite sponsors to frontline staff. Using the Prosci PCT Model to align project, change and leadership.
Resistance Management
Specialist in high-resistance programmes — deeply embedded practices, hostile stakeholders, difficult mergers. The harder the change, the more this matters.
M365 & Digital Adoption
Delivered Microsoft 365 adoption at scale across Network Rail, BEIS/UK Space Agency, Kent County Council and more. Training, champions, reinforcement.
Train the Trainer & Learning Design
Building programmes that outlast the contract — equipping change champions, leaders and teams to sustain adoption independently.
Keynote & Executive Facilitation
Comfortable presenting to boards, running workshops, and making complex change concepts land clearly with senior audiences.
“I never forget that the solution is always about people. Lead people well, and the results will happen.”— Karl Denny
Recent Work
Programmes that made
a real difference
Two major programmes across five years. First, a remote M365 adoption (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) during the pandemic — recruiting and mobilising 650+ Champions and SuperUsers nationally, supporting deployment of 16,000 laptops with training guides and videos still in active use today. Then, led change adoption for the MyRoster rostering programme across signalling and maintenance, completing all UK stations by Q1 2025 — managing deep resistance across a workforce with decades of embedded working practices.
33,000 staff (M365) · 16,000 staff (MyRoster)Global Teams telephony rollout across Africa & Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America. Started with a board member who didn’t want to change. Finished with £1.3m in annual savings and full adoption.
26,000 staff · 30+ countriesGoing Digital for frontline clinical teams — change designed around nurses who grieve with every patient they lose. Zero disruption to care. Sustainable digital adoption for people who had every reason to resist a new system.

Where I’ve worked
Comfortable across regulated, complex and people-heavy environments. Infrastructure and public sector are a particular strength.
